International Academy of Hair Design has been operating in the Phoenix Metro for over 30 years. Our philosophy and motto has always been to “Just Teach & Change Lives” and to always put the students first while providing them with a quality education to help them achieve success in the growing beauty industry.

Throughout its history the school, International Academy of Hair Design has grown from two campuses in the East Valley with locations in Scottsdale / Tempe and Chandler / Mesa, to four campuses with the additions of their Desert Sky Mall – Phoenix campus in November 2009 and Metrocenter Mall – Phoenix in February 2010. In March of 2011, International Academy of Hair Design – Chandler will be moving to Fiesta Mall in Mesa.

Our success is from our students. In the past 10 years, International Academy has graduated over 1300 students; many have went on to have successful careers as stylists, or aestheticians – several own salon and work independently and others have came back to International Academy to continue their education and have gotten their instructors license. We want our students to feel prepared when it’s time to go out and get a career and the staff of International Academy of Hair Design is there to support you to be sure you are ready for this important step in your life!

The campuses of International Academy of Hair Design are partners with sixteen additional beauty schools in the nation including; New Mexico (Olympian University of Cosmetology), Texas (I.T.S. Academy of Beauty), Oklahoma (Aladdin Beauty College) and Florida (Hair Benders Academy).
